Frequently Asked Questions
Where is your White Card training venue in Caboolture and how do I get there?
Our Caboolture venue is at 8-22 King Street, Caboolture QLD 4510, right in the heart of town. It’s easily reached from Morayfield, Burpengary and Narangba via the Bruce Highway, and Caboolture train station is just a short walk away if you’re catching the rail. There’s parking nearby for those driving in. If you need directions or want to confirm your spot, give us a call on 1300 029 132.
What's nearby the Caboolture venue for breaks and lunch?
You’re well covered for breaks around our King Street location. Caboolture’s town centre has plenty of cafes and bakeries within walking distance, and the nearby Caboolture Central and Morayfield Shopping Centre offer food courts and quick bites. Most students grab a coffee or a feed nearby during the lunch break before heading back for the afternoon session.
Which local employers and industries need a White Card around Caboolture?
Caboolture and the wider Moreton Bay region are seeing strong construction demand, so White Cards are essential for plenty of local work. Residential builders across Caboolture, Morayfield, Burpengary and Narangba, civil and infrastructure contractors, labour-hire firms and trades subbies all require workers to hold a valid White Card before stepping onto site. With the area’s ongoing housing growth, it’s one of the most in-demand entry tickets to construction work locally.
How does the Caboolture venue compare to your other QLD locations?
Caboolture is our pick for the northern Moreton Bay area, but we run the same $$85 CPCWHS1001 course at several sibling venues across Queensland. If Caboolture isn’t the most convenient for you, you might prefer Cannon Hill on Brisbane’s east side, Sunshine Coast up at Mooloolaba, or Logan to the south. Same course, same price, same nationally recognised outcome at every centre.
Do you offer on-site or group White Card training for the Caboolture area?
Yes. If you’ve got a team of workers across Caboolture, Morayfield, Burpengary or the broader Moreton Bay region, we can arrange group bookings and on-site delivery to suit your business. It’s a great option for builders and labour-hire companies who need to get multiple staff certified at once. Call us on 1300 029 132 to discuss numbers and dates for your crew.
Is there much construction work coming up around Caboolture and Moreton Bay?
Absolutely – the Moreton Bay growth corridor is one of the fastest-developing regions in South East Queensland. Major residential estates, road upgrades and community infrastructure are rolling out across Caboolture, Morayfield, Burpengary and Narangba, and the lead-up to the 2032 Brisbane Olympics is fuelling broader SEQ construction activity. A White Card is your entry point to getting on these sites, and our $$85 course gets you ready quickly.
What are the White Card rules in Queensland?
In Queensland, anyone carrying out construction work must complete general construction induction training (the White Card) before starting on site. This is governed by the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld) and administered by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WorkSafe QLD). Our CPCWHS1001 course meets these requirements, and the card you receive is recognised right across Australia.
How long is my White Card valid for?
Your White Card doesn’t have a fixed expiry date, but there is a lapse rule to be aware of. If you don’t carry out any construction work for a continuous period of two years or more, your card is no longer valid and you’ll need to complete the training again. As long as you’re working in construction within that window, your card stays current.
Will I get my Statement of Attainment the same day, and do I need a USI?
Yes – successful students receive a same-day Statement of Attainment so you can start applying for work straight away. You will need a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to be issued your certificate, which is a free, quick sign-up at usi.gov.au. Just have it ready on the day, or we can help you create one before your course starts.
I just need the White Card - is this the right course?
You’re in the right place. CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry – is the official White Card course, and at WhiteCardPro it’s just $$85. There’s nothing extra you need to buy; this single course gives you the nationally recognised White Card required for construction work across Australia. If you’ve got any questions, give us a ring on 1300 029 132 and we’ll sort you out.
